SOLID STATE LOGIC UC1

The Solid State Logic UC1 is a sophisticated hardware controller designed exclusively for DAWs and SSL's dedicated Channel Strip and Bus Compressor plug-ins. Dedicated potentiometers for equalization control are located on the left, intra-channel dynamics processing is on the right, and the center section is designed for full Bus Compressor control with gain reduction indication on an authentic VU meter.

The UC1 draws on decades of development in analogue and digital mixing console design to provide an intelligent and deeply integrated HW controller for SSL plug-ins, allowing you to focus on your production goals. The UC1's layout of controls, switches and color groupings offers the professional ergonomics of SSL consoles. Multiple parameters can be controlled simultaneously and accurately in real time, providing unparalleled audio flexibility. To further expand your hybrid workflow, we recommend upgrading this controller with the UF1 or UF8.

The imaginary mirror of every UC1 system is the virtual SSL 360° mixing console, an app for displaying and controlling all your SSL plug-ins. The Plug-in Mixer offers a new and exciting way to interact with your plug-ins, allowing you to master your work as you would on a real mixing console. Included with UC1 are perpetual licenses for the excellent SSL plug-ins 4K B, SSL Channel Strip 2 and Bus Compressor 2, an iLok account is required to register. Connection to a computer is via the high-speed USB-C bus. Compatibility is guaranteed for Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS 11 and above. The dimensions of the controller are 300 x 266 x 61 mm and the weight is 4.5 kg. USB cables and power supply are included.
