The KS-40A is the name for a compact, affordable, high-quality active studio monitor that any audio enthusiast will appreciate, whether they need to monitor their keyboards, record or mix music, or just require a quality listening experience.
The power output of these monitors, equivalent to 2x 10 watts, is fed by two drivers in each - a 4-inch woofer and a 0.75-inch tweeter. The frequency response in the -5 dB tolerance band corresponds to 10 - 10,000 Hz. In addition to the volume, the expressiveness of the bass frequencies can be adjusted.
All electronics are hidden in a cabinet made of 12mm thick MDF. Of course, there is electromagnetic shielding, acoustic tuning and a bass reflex placement on the back. Two pairs of RCA connectors are used for input, the first of which has amplified highs and the second straight equalization.
