The X Series is Jackson's mid-range instrument and is characterized by its high-quality materials, ultra-fast playability, great sound and affordable price. The Spectra models are designed especially for modern players who are not afraid to experiment. They have a stylish design, unsurpassed sound and a very wide sound spectrum.
The body of this novelty is made of poplar. The maple neck is bolted to the body and is great for fast playing. This is also matched by the 24-fret Jumbo fretboard made of fig wood, which has a combined radius and flattens towards the body. White position dots on the fingerboard are used for orientation. The gauge of the instrument is 864 mm, the width of the zero fret is 38.1 mm.
The strings are anchored in a solid Jackson HiMass headstock, which naturally accentuates the attack and sustain of the tone. Die cast mechanics ensure reliable tuning. Two humbuckers with switchable active electronics take care of the sound pickups, and the sound can be further fine-tuned using the Blend potentiometers and the three-band equalizer.
Jackson basses have everything you need to ensure your band doesn't lack a solid foundation. They feature a stylish look and, above all, a sound that will have everyone knowing you from a mile away.
