CORT A4 Ultra ASH ENB

The A4 Ultra from the Artisan series features a through neck composed of five pieces of maple and Panga Panga woods, a solid mahogany body and an ash top, thanks to which the vibrations of the strings are transmitted evenly to the body, resulting in a very specific sound with an ideal ratio of bass, mids and treble.

At the heart of this bass's sound are the Fishman Fluence Bass soapbar pickups, which provide an incredible amount of sonic possibilities, making this a very versatile instrument. Revolutionary technology allows you to switch between three sound characteristics: the first uses a passive circuit and provides a classic, thick and round bass tone. The second features an active circuit that will provide a wide range of dynamics over a very wide frequency range. The third uses an active circuit with midrange accentuation, which in turn gives you a funky, very clear and intelligible sound. Additionally, the pickups feature push/pull coil uncoupling, allowing you to add a touch of classic Jazz Bass instrumentation to each of these sonic characteristics.

The high quality Hipshot Transtone headstock allows the strings to both pass through the body and attach to the soundboard, further expanding the tonal possibilities of the instrument. On the other hand, the strings are mounted in precision tuning machines from the same company.
