FOCAL Trio6

Following the Solo6 and Twin6, Focal expands its ST6 range with the Trio6 three-way monitor. This
Focal's new flagship professional loudspeaker has expertise in acoustics and
sound reproduction, bringing even more detail and transparency. Innovative speaker drivers,
Dual Focus mode, switchable auto standby, laminar port and reinforced cabinet are just
some of the features that are showcased on this versatile work tool that provides
uncompromising performance.

DETAILED, TRANSPARENT SOUND
Made in France by Focal, the Trio6 features an 8" subwoofer with a diaphragm
"W" - a patented innovation. Other features include a 5" midrange driver with TMD (Tuned
Mass Damper), which reduces distortion in the 1 kHz to 3 kHz frequency range by 50%, and a new beryllium
tweeter that boasts IAL (Infinite Acoustic Loading) technology for controlling
resonance. Its large laminar port significantly reduces port noise, and the reinforced cabinet provides even
better stiffness and damping, less vibration and therefore less distortion. The Trio6 offers remarkable sonic neutrality in
across the entire sound spectrum, as well as accurate mids, punchy bass and excellent dynamics, resulting in
very low levels of distortion.

DUAL FOCUS MODE
The Trio6 has a dual focus mode - either single or dual band - which creates three monitors in
one by combining the iconic focus mode from the old SM9 star monitor with the new
full-range focus mode from the ST6 series. This new loudspeaker driver configuration is
available at the touch of a pedal - like having a second pair of studio monitors with reduced
frequency response, allowing you to see how the mix adapts to smaller systems. So sound engineers
can preserve the sweet spot when mixing, save desk or console space, and simplify cabling and changing
monitors.

SPECIFIC FEATURES
Like Solo6 and Twin6, Trio6 includes a variable high-frequency crossover, 160Hz parametric
crossover to reduce reflections from the desk, and an automatic standby mode that can be turned off with
switch, which the user can access for better speaker control. With impressively smooth
