A group of enthusiasts from Canada created the Dingwall Guitars brand, which produces quality basses with original designs from the best materials. All instruments are made with passion, love, obsession, creativity, pride, and it is all of these values that continue to remain in the instrument after it leaves the shop. Dingwall players include bearded Lee Sklar (Phil Collins, Toto, Jackson Browne), Rob Van Der Loo (Epica), Nathan Navarro (Super Mario) and Adam "Nolly" Getgood (Periphery). Dingwall instruments are characterized by their distinctive body shape, pickup placement and variable menza length or slanted frets. Varying the menorah for individual strings balances their tension and greatly improves the sonority, legibility and tone quality. The strings are thus balanced with each other.

D-ROC Standard instruments are based on a body shape that has been proven over the years, but adds many modern features.

The body of this bass is made of highly resonant mahogany. The bolted neck is made of five layers of maple, providing extreme stability and reliability, and the fingerboard is made of Pau Ferro wood.

Sound pickups are taken care of by a top-of-the-line, custom-made trio of FD-3N passive pickups with neodymium magnets, which provide high output and an aggressive, yet highly audible sound. You can control the sound using the master volume and master tone potentiometers and the rotary pickup switch.

The strings are mounted in a solid headstock with separate stones and 19 mm string spacing. On the other side you will find custom-made open tuning machines. The hardware is in a nickel finish.
