As the name suggests, this is Hadrien Feraud's signature model. The Jabba model is based on the classic Jazz Bass concept, but it is definitely not a mere copy without a touch of invention. In addition to the perfect craftsmanship, it is also the premium materials that make this instrument a unique original. There is a layer of wenge wood between the mud ash body and the top, the top itself is made of spruce wood and surprises with a beautiful pattern. A maple neck with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, decorated with acrylic position blocks and fitted with 24 jumbo-sized frets, is bolted to the body using six screws. The neck foot is specially modified for more comfortable access to the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound pickups are handled by J-J/Delano JMVC 5 FE Jazzbass Twincoil pickups coupled with Mayo M-BP3 active electronics. This combination guarantees great dynamics and clarity in every genre, and a five potentiometer setup is used to further adjust the sound. The chrome-plated hardware is not lacking in quality either, the strings are sandwiched between a vintage Mayones headstock and Hipshot HB6C Ultralite tuning machines.
The bass comes in a luxurious and perfectly fitting Hiscox ABS case, and Schaller strap locks are also included.
