The Yamaha PSR-EW425 is a new keyboard in its price range, which is very versatile in sound and covers everything from modern popular music to old classics. There are 820 realistic sounds to choose from with Super Articulation Lite technology, which for example offers a typical scratch on electric guitars or simulates fingerstyle playing on classical guitars. Of course, there's also the high-resolution sound of an acoustic piano or advanced features such as the Live knob for adjusting synth-like parameters, sampling, Groove creator for creating beats, sophisticated sound system or recording to USB memory.
The Quick Sampling feature allows you to record audio using the aux input and then play and process it using the keyboard. With Groove Creator you can also quickly create and edit beats. A new feature is the Mega Boost function, which boosts the input signal by 6 dB, which you'll especially appreciate during your thunderous solos.
Of course, there's a rich library of sounds with instruments from around the world, 290 automatic accompaniments that respond to your chords, or a range of modern Western dance music grooves. Whatever genre you choose, you won't go wrong with this keyboard.
For easier real-time control of your sound, the PSR-EW425 also has a pair of Live Control Knobs that can be assigned 10 DSP effects and modulate the sound just like an analog synth. The Target knob then quickly assigns the effect to the desired destination.
An advanced arpeggiator with Hold and Key Range functions for hands-free operation, a 24W sound system with 12cm bassreflex, microphone input, USB connector for recording and sending and receiving MIDI information via computer or smart devices, USB to device for recording performances to a USB flash or aux input complete the collection of parameters.
