The Vemuram Butter Machine guitar effect was created in collaboration with American guitarist Michael Landau. This is a slightly different distortion pedal that gives you full control over the dynamics of your playing, including subtle nuances. The Butter Machine's distortion structure runs the gamut from a beautifully open natural overdrive to full-on distortion, but definitely don't expect metallic high-gain distortion. The Butter Machine will give you a hefty helping of gain and beautiful sustain, while also responding well to volume cutoff on the guitar's volume potentiometer, where the tone stays clean punchy and tight.
In addition to the three main controls (Gain, Volume, Tone), you'll also use the two trimmers to work with the sound to fine-tune it to your liking. A 9V battery or 9V adapter (not included) is required to power the pedal effect.
