The Kernom Ridge pedal effect is a modern analog overdrive with features not found in most conventional OD effects. The manufacturer states "The million moods overdrive" in the subtitle, and it's the Mood control that offers a wide range of clipping admixtures - symmetrical, asymmetrical, soft, hard and everything in between. The Pre and Post Tone knobs located before and after the overdrive/clipping determine the pedal's response to the guitar signal and the shape of the output sound. The settings of the remaining knobs define the output volume, the degree of overdrive and the character of the sound in the midrange frequencies.
Your settings can be saved and recalled with the Preset footswitch, and by connecting an external MIDI controller you can work with up to 127 presets. All Kernom Ridge parameters can also be controlled via MIDI or by connecting an external expression pedal. The pedal effect is wired as a true bypass. A 9V DC center negative is required for power supply (300mA or more recommended).
