British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs. The TW4 E FM is an electro-acoustic guitar of the "Super Folk" type, i.e. an instrument with a narrower and shallower body, from the Winterleaf Exotic series.
The guitar's soundboard is made of solid spruce and a fancy veneer of flamed maple, while the back and sides are made of laminated mahogany. Twenty-one frets divide the ebony-finished Eboncore composite fingerboard. A practical lower body cutout makes it easier to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound reinforcement is provided by Fishman Presys electronics with a three-band equalizer and built-in tuner. The strings are mounted in chrome tuning machines and a composite headstock.
