The solid SFX-Myrtlewood BR electroacoustic guitar's solid soundboard is made from manufacturer's designated Myrtlewood (California Hemlock or Umbellaria), which has undergone a special heat treatment (Aged to Vintage torefaction process) before assembly. The result is the sound and look of decades of aged woods, yet it is a brand new model. The back and sides are made of plywood myrtlewood. The natural acoustic resonance of the wood is enhanced by X ribbing (Advanced-X) and a thin layer of UV lacquer.
The mahogany neck is glued to a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard, with positioning dots for easy orientation. The strings are anchored in Die-Cast tuning machines with black pegs and an ovangkol fingerboard.
The guitar is fitted with Fishman Presys II active electronics with integrated tuner, two-band EQ, volume control and Phase knob.
