SUPRO Royale Head

Thanks to its 50 watts of power and ample headroom, the Royale Head all-tube guitar amplifier from Supro offers a beautifully clear tone with good bass response even at higher volumes. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the three-band EQ, with an additional dimension provided by the built-in tube-driven spring reverb, or your favourite pedal effects connected via an effects loop with input buffer.

The 5881 tube-powered end amp offers a choice of Class A (35W) and Class AB (50W) amps, with Class A delivering a traditional Supro sound with more pronounced mids, while Class AB delivers more of a "California sound" with more subdued mids and a solid bass bottom end. On the rear panel, alongside the aforementioned effects loop, you'll find outputs to external speakers and three footswitch connectors (reverb, effects loop and function/effect boost - footswitches not included).

The quality of workmanship is underlined by the stylish vintage design of the combo with a poplar cabinet covered in black tolex.

The American brand Supro was at the very beginning of rock & roll. The brand's first period dates back to between 1935 and 1968, when many artists played Supro instruments and they continued to enjoy a certain popularity even after the production ceased (among the bands and artists we can mention Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones or David Bowie). Recently, there has been a resurgence of the brand, with stylish vintage guitar designs being revived.
