Revv's machines don't look to more famous competitors, and the circuits of all channels are original concepts - the Blue Channel, with its beautifully clear tones with awesome headroom, is an ideal platform for pedal effects, while the Green Channel, with its three Drive modes, offers you subtle tone drawing, classic rock crunch/overdrive and bigger machine stack sounds, the high-gain Purple Channel is known for scalpel-sharp defined high-gain distortion with precise tone articulation, and the heaviest caliber, Red Channel, runs the gamut from "old-school" overdrive to massive modern high-gain distortion. You can adjust the character of the tone down to the smallest detail with standard controls (Gain, Level, three-band EQ) and a wide variety of switches, so even the most demanding "tweakers" will be satisfied. The two footswitchable Master Volume controls can be used to boost the signal by leaps and bounds (Volume Boost). Easily integrate your favourite pedal effects via the serial effects loop.
You can connect guitar speakers with 16, 8 or 4 ohm impedance to the amp, or do without them altogether with the built-in reactive loadbox and virtual speakers - when no speaker is connected to the amp, the reactive load is automatically activated to prevent damage to the amp. This sends the signal directly to the mix, recording device/speaker or headphones (Stereo XLR Out, Headphones jacks). The main panel offers a controller with six pre-set virtual cabinets, you can access up to 128 via MIDI. The Torpedo Remote software also opens the way to a multitude of virtual microphones, speakers, cabinets, EQ and other guitar effects (controllable via Bluetooth), in reactive/internal load connection you determine whether the final amp will be in the signal path (Torpedo Remote also offers perfect simulations of final amps).
The amp is fully programmable, recalling presets and entering commands is possible via MIDI or the included footswitch, which in addition to storing presets in six banks offers channel switching, effects loop, wide, drive, aggression switches, two Master Volumes and a Mute function.
In its few years of existence, the young Canadian brand Revv Amps has managed to win the favour of many top professional musicians across musical genres. All products, whether it's an effects pedal or a four-channel amplifier with 120 watts of power, are manufactured with the same precision and care in Winnipeg, Canada. In the case of all circuits, these are original concepts - no clones or knockoffs - and the design of Revv Amps products also takes into account the current era and strives to make life as easy as possible for musicians.
