Seven-string guitar SE MARK HOLCOMB - SVN Holcomb Blue Burst is a more affordable instrument from the SE series. The mahogany body of the guitar is adorned with a figured maple top and a fancy flamed maple veneer top. The Shallow Violin carve brings the instrument's playing quality closer to the more expensive American Core Series models. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four frets is glued to a maple neck with a Wide Thin profile. Position markers in the form of mother-of-pearl bird silhouettes facilitate orientation across the fingerboard surface. The specific features of the instrument are the longer menus (673 mm) and the flat radius of the fingerboard (20 inches), which will suit fast, technically proficient players.
A pair of signature Seymour Duncan Scarlet/Scourge humbuckers provide the guitar with the ideal balance of musical aggression/output and precise articulation needed to match the sound of more refined guitar riffs. The tone color can be controlled with the volume and tone control, which features a push/pull function that allows the guitar to give you the pure sound of single-coil pickups as well. There's also a three-position toggle switch that lets you select between individual pickups or plug in both.
The strings are anchored through the body for better sustain, and tuning stability is guaranteed by high-quality PRS drives. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
Paul Reed Smith's PRS guitars are considered one of the most versatile and reliable instruments ever. Thanks to their great sound and playing comfort, they are popular with Santana and Mark Tremonti, for example. In addition to the tried-and-tested classics, the brand also offers left-handed models, seven-string, baritone and semi-hollowbody guitars, and signature models from famous guitarists. SE instruments are made in Indonesia. However, you don't have to worry about their quality - manufacturing standards and careful output control are a matter of course.
