The Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 features large jog wheels that are responsive and easy to use with a design similar to classic CDJ units. Each of these wheels has its own display showing the position of the playback head. The unit features a MAGVEL FADER for precise scratching and has a scratch-inspired design with Performance Pads and Lever FX for dynamic playing.
The device also features dedicated Stems control buttons, allowing players to isolate different parts of a track, adjust the volume of individual tracks with EQ, and combine different stems to create live mashups and remixes.
Other standout features include the new Auto BPM Transition, which makes it easy to mix different genres of music, and Piano Play mode, where Performance Pads can be used to trigger cue points in different semitones, allowing for intuitive musical performances.
In terms of connectivity and compatibility, the DDJ-REV5 has many inputs and outputs, including an XLR master output and two USB Type-C ports, making it easy to switch between DJs.
