The new Little Marcus 58R bass amp from Markbass is poised to repeat the worldwide success of the signature Marcus Miller heads it introduced a few years ago. It is the result of a collaboration between Marcus Miller, known for his pioneering style and distinctive sound, and Marc De Virgiliis, considered an innovator in lightweight, portable, powerful and great sounding bass heads and cabinets. Like the previous version, it offers a warm and natural sound, clear definition, dynamics and punch, respecting tone priority like all Little Mark heads, and two new Old School and Millerizer filters on the EQ2 that were created in collaboration with Marcus, allowing you to quickly get a vintage tone or slap sound. The new bi-band limiter in this amp responds faster and more dynamically to your playing. It is complemented by a 500W amplifier, providing flawless bass reproduction thanks to a proprietary MPT amplifier specifically designed for bass.
The Little Marcus 58R amplifier delivers simple, intuitive and efficient control like previous Little Marcus head series with the best tone choices thanks to five bands on the EQ1, from ULTRALOW to HIGH. Increased versatility is provided by a new tone setting tuned to offer a more defined, rich and dynamic sound that easily stands out in the mix. EQ1 and EQ2 can be turned on/off via the optional footswitch. The Little Marcus 58R also boasts a luxurious power-to-weight ratio thanks to the latest technology and design. It offers 500W of power at a weight of just 2.17 kg / 4.78 lb, making it an extremely portable yet powerful choice for bassists.
