The touch and feel of an acoustic piano
The refined look and high-quality construction will make you wonder if this really is a classic concert grand piano. When you touch the keyboard, you will melt away and the great surround sound will take you to a dream world where life flows according to your music. The Responsive Hammer Action III keyboard is the highlight of this versatile instrument, which perfectly serves as a quality piano in concert halls, music classrooms or recording studios. The DG30 is nicknamed the "piano of the future" by the manufacturer because it is innovative and highly mobile. Thanks to three sensors, the hammers do not have to strike the heavy metal strings, but only tap the laser beam zone and then emit a signal to the intuitive audio system. The hammers are made of ivory, and since they essentially direct their strikes into the void, their lifespan is greatly extended. The 88 keys and realistic damper triple pedal will respond beautifully to your playing dynamics and key strikes.
The sound of an acoustic piano
At the heart of the GD30 is the authentic sound of the acclaimed Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano, which has become a legend and used by concert masters around the world. Inside the piano is a high-performance audio system from Japanese brand Onkyo, whose home theatres can be found in many living rooms on every continent. The sound is reproduced through 2x13cm and 2x10cm speakers with up to 40W of power, so you can easily fill a medium-sized concert hall with your tunes. Of course, for night players, the GD30 is also equipped with a headphone output, as good neighbourly relations are priceless. There are also ten piano modes to choose from, as well as six types of reverb and 24 other effects, so you'll always have a sound that pleases your ear. Plus, the flexible Virtual Technician feature lets you adjust your sound through up to 19 parameters.
An old look with modern technology
At first glance, you wouldn't know it wasn't an acoustic piano. However, modern technology has pushed the possibilities of piano playing further and no longer just means a reduction in sound quality or the feeling of playing. Today, modern technology allows you to study the piano via mobile apps, save notes in notation software and, last but not least, manage all the instrument's settings from your mobile phone or via a control panel with a clear OLED display next to the keyboard. The package also includes a subscription to the PianoRemote mobile apps for setting up the sound directly from your device and PiaBookPlayer with thousands of sheet music and educational programs for beginner and advanced pianists.
