The body of the Pro Plus Series DK Modern HT7 MS Satin Orange Crush seven-string electric guitar is made of linden. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-size stainless steel frets is glued to a bolt-on three-piece maple and wenge neck reinforced with graphite bracing.

The currently popular concept of multi-scale, i.e. fitting the fingerboard with diagonally placed frets, gives the instrument a variable menzatura (648 mm - 686 mm) and the strings optimum tension. The combined fingerboard radius allows both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shredding at higher positions. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers in imitation mother-of-pearl and luminescent dots on the side, giving you perfect visibility even in the darkest parts of the stage.

Two active Fishman Fluence Modern PRF-MH8 humbuckers guarantee a piercingly aggressive dynamic sound. By switching between the two pickup voicings (push/pull tone shutter function), they offer the best of both worlds - the full aggressive push of the active pickups and the dynamics and punch of the passive ones. Stable tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by attaching the strings through the TusQ XL zero fret in Gotoh locking mechanisms and through the Hipshot 7 solid bridge through the body of the guitar.
