Electric guitars from the AZ series represent a pleasant revival of the Ibanez catalogue. It offers the classic round neck and balanced asymmetrical body of the Super ST models.
The lime body of the AZ427P2QM-TUB seven-string guitar is adorned with a spectacular flame maple veneer and an impressive Deep Ocean Blonde finish. Thanks to the ergonomic shaping of the back of the body, the guitar fits perfectly in your hand. Glued to the maple neck is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo stainless steel frets. The neck's heat treatment improves stability, durability, and resistance to water and temperature fluctuations, while giving the guitar the look and feel of a mature/played instrument. Mother-of-Pearl position dots and luminescent markers on the side make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
Seymour Duncan Hyperion passive pickups with Alnico 5 magnets and a milder output signal guarantee a clean, dynamic articulate sound even with higher hi-gain distortion. The dyna-MIX 10 pickup switching system (a five-position blade switch and a two-position alter switch) offers ten different pickup connection options, where you can easily switch between humbucker and single-coil pickup sounds in standard and power tap modes.
Stable tuning and fast string changes are guaranteed by the fit of the Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines and the Gotoh T1572S tremolo with steel saddles and steel tremolo block. The guitar is supplied in a gig bag with multi-tool.
