The body of the semi-hollow double-cut Broadkaster model is made of laminated maple and a chambered spruce center block that reinforces the guitar's soundboard. A maple neck with a narrower Thin "U" profile is glued to a fig wood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Clouds) make the fingerboard easy to navigate.

The two USA Full'Tron humbuckers designed by design guru Tim Shaw give the guitar a slightly more pronounced midrange and more "bite" in addition to the authentic Gretsch sound and feel, making the guitar sound a bit more "punchy" at overdrive/distortion settings and full volume. To adjust it, there are two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter, an overall Master Volume control with Treble Bleed circuit (allowing you to lower the volume without accentuating the bass frequencies) and a three-position pickup switch.

Strings are held in locking die-cast tuning machines and through the Adjusto-Matic tailpiece in a licensed Bigsby B70 tremolo. American artist Cleon Peterson has had a strong hand in the guitar's visuals, with his designs adorning the fingerboard (cloud inlays), pickguard cap and Silver Plexi pickguard. The stylish finish is accentuated by the metallic Iridescent Black finish and Silver Sparkle binding.
