The Downtown Express bass multi-effect from the American brand Fender offers three basic effects - compressor, equalizer and overdrive - in a pedal effect body. A practical solution for your pedalboard.
Each of the three separate sections (Equalizer, Overdrive, Compressor) is accompanied by a footswitch for activating the effect and standard controls to precisely shape the sound to your liking. The Master Volume potentiometer can be used to decrease and increase the overall output volume without affecting the individual settings of the multieffect sections. Another important feature is the two-position switch that determines the position of the compressor before or after the overdrive section in the signal path.
In addition to the standard mono output, the Downtown Express offers a balanced XLR output for direct connection to mixing consoles and studio gear, and a tuner output (footswitch Mute to attenuate the signal for quiet tuning). The box chassis is made of lightweight, durable, anodized aluminum. LED backlit potentiometers give you a perfect overview of the current settings even in the dark corners of the stage - anyone who has ever picked up a "black Peter" and played on stage in the dark will surely understand. The effect is powered by a 9V adapter (not included).
