The front of the PREMIER GRAMERCY Grand Auditorium CE Aged Burst is made of solid spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated sapele. A rosewood fingerboard with 20 Medium Jumbo frets is glued to a mahogany neck with a narrower "C" profile. Position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl in the shape of small diamonds facilitate orientation on the fingerboard.
The body of the guitar is balanced by a headstock in the traditional shape of D'Angelico instruments decorated with the company logo in imitation mother-of-pearl. The strings are secured via a bone saddle and zero fret in Stairstep Wave tuning machines and a rosewood fingerboard. The stylish look of the D'Angelico guitars is accentuated by Antique Bronze hardware, ebony bracing caps and Art-Deco style elements - be it the headstock shape, tuning mechanism design, position markers on the fingerboard or the newly designed Scalini pickguard shape.
Sound reinforcement options include Fishman Presys-VT electronics with Volume and Tone controls subtly set into the instrument's soundhole.
