Cort Abstract Delta NAT w/case is a follow-up to the 2018 limited edition model. It is an instrument with a medium-sized Orchestra (OM) body, which is also deeper (91 x 106 mm) than the standard OM models. The front of the guitar is made from Master Grade solid spruce, while the back and sides are made from AAA-quality Pau Ferro solid wood.
The mahogany neck is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with 20 frets. Playing comfort is enhanced by the rounded edges of the body, fingerboard and frets. The stability of the neck and the overall construction of the instrument is enhanced by the walnut neck bracing and the DoubleLock connection to the body, which, together with a thin layer of UV lacquer and hand-picked Scalloped X ribbing, promotes the natural acoustic resonance of the wood.
Faithful transmission of the instrument's acoustic sound is guaranteed by the L.R. Baggs Anthem electronics with patented Tru-Mic technology combining microphone pickup and Element sub-coil pickup. The controls are discreetly placed in the guitar's soundhole. Stable tuning is ensured by the Graphtech TusQ zero fret string attachment in Gotoh 510Z Gold gears with 21:1 ratio and an ebony fingerboard with ebony pegs. The stylish finish is accentuated by triangular position markers on the fingerboard and design on the headstock, body binding in padouk and rosette in a special design.
