Guitar mode offers ten unique amp characters, including clean, crunch, high-gain BOSS Brown, two characters optimized for acoustic/electric guitar and more. There's also a special bass mode with Vintage, Modern and Flat types that are ported directly from Katana Bass amps. Each mode includes an extensive library of BOSS effects to explore, including the ability to customize your sound in the companion BOSS Tone Studio app for iOS and Android.

KATANA:GO's Stage Feel feature delivers an immersive playing experience with BOSS' advanced surround technology. Presets allow you to place the amplifier and accompanying music in different locations in the soundfield, creating the impression of playing with an accompanist on stage or jamming in a room with friends. The soundfield can even be customised using the intuitive tools in BOSS Tone Studio.

The guitar and bass modes of KATANA:GO each contain thirty memories of prepared sounds. With BOSS Tone Studio, you can edit preset memories, create sounds from scratch, or import Tone Setting memories created with professional-grade Katana guitar and bass amps. In both apps, you can use the Stage Feel feature to add depth and dimension to the sound of the instrument and accompanying music streamed via Bluetooth.

Wireless foot control

The optional EV-1-WL wireless MIDI Expression pedal and FS-1-WL wireless footswitch extend the capabilities of KATANA:GO with remote control functions that you assign in BOSS Tone Studio. Control volume and wah, select memories, turn effects on/off and much more - all with a cable-free connection.
