PHIL JONES BG 120 Basscub RD

The Bass Cub Pro from Phil Jones is a bass combo with up to 120 watts RMS that fits easily in your backpack.

Compared to the traditional Bass Cub, the Pro model features a five-band EQ that lets you set up your dream sound down to the smallest detail, or an effects loop with a Mix potentiometer that lets you easily mix clean sound with looped sound. In addition, you'll also find an active/passive instrument switch or mute function on the top panel, an aux input with adjustable volume, a headphone output for undisturbed practice, and a master volume potentiometer.

The combo is equipped with a pair of special 5" NeoPower Chrome-Dome speakers, which are designed from the ground up to be able to perfectly preserve the typical bass sound that Phil Jones amps are famous for, despite their compact size. This gives the combo a wide frequency range, faster response and, most importantly, preserves the natural sound of your instrument, which is great for both delicate playing and crisp slap techniques.

Of course, there's also a balanced XLR DI output for convenient recording, a line output and Speakon outputs for an external speaker or listening system. On the underside you'll find a handy handle that also serves as a support for better sound projection when the combo is placed on the floor.
