Junior Jet II electric basses from the Electromatic series offer the iconic sound and feel of Gretsch instruments at an affordable price. These are versatile instruments with a minimalist design that can be used seamlessly in a variety of musical styles.
The body of this single-cut model is made from proven linden wood, giving the instrument a combination of strong resonance and light weight. A black walnut fingerboard, fitted with twenty Medium Jumbo frets, is glued to the bolted maple neck. Traditional position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl make it easy to navigate its surface.
The key element of this instrument is the shortened menus (30.3"), which gives you maximum playing comfort and enriches the instrument with unique sound characteristics.
Two Gretsch mini singlecoil pickups provide the bassist with a sound with robust bass and punchy mids that can be adjusted via the volume potentiometer, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch. Strings are mounted via a synthetic bone fretboard in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and adjustable headstock.
