JACKSON X Series CBXDX V Snow White

The beginning of the production of bass guitars at Jackson dates back to the first half of the 1980s. In addition to the now famous Kelly, King V and Dinky models, the Concert Bass also appeared. Essentially a simple instrument, it nevertheless has a straightforward seismic tone and a neck ideal for fast playing. Fans of these instruments include bassists from bands such as Hatebreed, Lamb of God and Megadeth.

This bass belongs to the X series, which means it doesn't lack true Jacksonian pedigree and offers great features such as active electronics or a neck that runs through the body. These instruments are perfect for anyone looking for a modern, comfortable instrument with a versatile and aggressive sound.

The body of this bass is made of lightweight and great resonating poplar. A maple neck runs through the body, giving it great playability and longer sustain. Great for fast playing. This is also matched by the fig fingerboard, whose radius is combined and flattens towards the body. There are 24 jumbo frets. The fingerboard is oriented by position blocks with the typical "shark fin" shape. The gauge of the instrument corresponds to 864 mm. the width of the zero fret is 44.5 mm.

The strings are anchored in a solid Jackson HiMass headstock, which naturally accentuates the attack and sustain of the tone. Die cast mechanics ensure reliable tuning. Two PJ pickups with active electronics take care of sound pickups, and the sound can be fine-tuned with two volume potentiometers and a three-band equalizer.
