JACKSON Pro Series Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7P MN BBB
Electric 7-String Guitar | Product code:
HN212021
The lime body of this seven-string is decorated with a poplar burl top veneer with an impressive wood grain that is enhanced by a glossy Blackburst finish. The bolted-on one-piece maple neck with graphite bracing also features a maple fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets. The neck and fingerboard were heat-treated before assembly, which makes the wood more stable and gives the guitar an exclusive look (Caramelized Maple). The flat radius of the fingerboard (20 inches) is also a definite plus for fast players. Orientation around its surface, even in the darkest corners of the stage, is made easier by offset position dots and side luminescent markers.
Two signature Jackson MM1 humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the balanced tone and dynamics needed to sound like uncompromising metal riffs, sing-along solos or chord breakdowns. Volume potentiometer, push/pull tone control and a five-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. The Push/Pull function of the Tone Shutter serves not for traditional humbucker coil splitting (this is offered by the switch's positions 2 and 4), but for bypassing the potentiometer itself.
Tuning stability and good intonation are assured by the strings' attachment in the company's locking Die-Cast tuning machines and a solid Jackson HT-7 through-body anchored tailpiece. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by black hardware and a headstock colour-coordinated with the body.
For several decades now, electric guitars from the American brand Jackson have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's roster of players. However, the radical metal design can also enchant adventurous musicians from the completely opposite musical spectrum, as evidenced, for example, by Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, who in turn clearly prove that the sound of Jackson instruments can make its way into genres built on a clean, warm sound.
