Fender's Pour Over Bass Envelope Filter offers a new perspective on the functionality of envelope filter, aka Auto-wah, pedals controlled by the dynamics of the beat. It's an analog box universally suitable for bassists and guitarists alike, offering both traditional forms of auto-wah effects and more radical synth sounds.
Among the range of controls, we should mention the optional Band-Pass, High-Pass and Low-Pass filters, which allow you to optimise the pedal's sound settings for the needs of your guitar or bass, the Up/Down switch that determines the direction of modulation/sweep, and the separate Distortion section with its associated Level, Tone and Gain controls, where activating the distortion circuit (in the signal path before the filters) takes the sound to further dimensions.
The chassis of the box is made of lightweight and durable anodized aluminum. The LED backlit potentiometers give you a perfect overview of the current settings even in the dark corners of the stage - anyone who has ever picked up a "black Peter" and played on stage in the dark will surely understand. The effect is powered by a 9V adapter (not included) or a 9V battery.
