Created to celebrate the SVT's 50th anniversary, the Heritage SVT-CL 50th Anniversary tube amp takes the best of the glorious past, including a cool period design, while also reflecting the needs of today's players with a host of modern features. It is a two-channel amplifier with 300 watts of power, with the first channel featuring the original 1969 "Blue Line" SVT circuit, and the second channel based on the mid-70s (so-called Magnavox era) machines. Thanks to the four inputs and the possibility of interconnecting connectors, both channels can be used in parallel.
The sound of the first channel can be shaped using a three-band EQ and three switches, where you can accentuate the highs (Ultra Hi), set the default frequency for the midrange control (220 Hz, 800 Hz, 3 kHz) and accentuate/push the bass or bypass the Bass-Cut/Off/Ultra-Lo switch. For the second channel, there is a two-band EQ and Ultra-Hi and Ultra-Lo switches (treble or bass boost).
The rear panel of the amplifier offers three speaker outputs (2x 6.3 mm jack and 1x Neutrik SpeakON output) with 4 and 2 ohm impedance, Slave Out output for connecting two amplifiers, an effects loop (Power Amp In, Preamp Out), XLR output with Pre-EQ and Post-EQ settings, and bias adjustability of the end tubes. The preamplifier is equipped with five Premium JJ 12AX7 tubes, the final stage with five Ampeg Super Valve 6550 tubes.
The amp was completely made in the USA from top quality components, so it's as American as Rock & Roll itself. A clear challenge for lovers of premium sound.
