Bassist Adam Nitti has been in the music world for over twenty years, during which time he has worked on hundreds of projects in many different genres, several of which have been awarded Grammy Awards. His signature basses are based on the popular Soundgear series, and the main characteristics of these instruments include a lightweight ergonomically shaped body, a narrow neck that contributes to a truly comfortable playing experience, careful selection of woods and hardware, versatility of use and, most importantly, a great sound.
The body of this bass is made of swamp ash, to which is bolted a neck composed of three pieces of maple. The fingerboard is also maple, with 24 frets and decorated with black blocks. Greater comfort from playing in higher positions is provided by a deeper neck set into the body. The headstock and the body are visually in harmony and combined with the matte black hardware form a compact unit. The solid Hipshot A-Style headstock with a string spacing of 18 millimetres guarantees precise intonation and reliable vibration transfer to the body of the instrument.
Perfect sound characteristics and great flexibility are offered by a pair of passive Bartolini 59CBJD pickups, which are paired with three-band active electronics and a Bartolini NTMB+F preamp.
