The BC-1X is a bass compressor that features the latest technology and, most importantly, multiband compression to keep the tone tight and specific. Bring your studio sound to the stage. With this box, that's no problem.
Multiband compression works with several frequency segments at once, instead of affecting the tone as a whole. As a result, the dynamics of your playing can be controlled very naturally without causing the sound to become unreadable, as happens with some compressors.
The Level, Release, Ratio, and Threshold potentiometers are used to control the amount of compression, the sensitivity with which the compressor responds, and the duration. The compression rate is indicated by a twelve-segment LED indicator.
The voltage is converted from a 9V adapter or battery to 18V, which provides plenty of room for bass with active electronics without any signal distortion, and thanks to the digital circuits, the effect also reduces the noise floor.
