ORTEGA Stripedsu ACB

The ACB Striped Suite electroacoustic bass belongs to the Private Room series, which features instruments made from a selection of materials. The production of each one begins with the careful setting aside of the finest pieces of wood, which are then handcrafted into unique instruments - using classical techniques combined with a state-of-the-art approach.

This bass comes with a revolutionary solution in the form of a built-in Armrest - a beveled spot on the body of the guitar where you can rest your right hand comfortably and fully commit to precision strumming. The Armrest is made from select acacia, the parent species of koa wood.

The front of the bass is made from solid Alaskan spruce, while the sides and back are made from striped ebony. The neck is made of mahogany and features a rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets. The gauge of the instrument corresponds to 812 mm, the width of the zero fret is 45 mm. The guitar has a 122 mm body.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood and the gold Die Cast mechanics from Ortega are used for precise tuning. The guitar is equipped with ORTEGA MagusPro-NL active electronics, which includes a tuner. The sound is picked up by an underneath-coil piezo pickup.

The luxurious impression of the guitar is emphasized by the decorative rosette around the soundboard, inlaid with a combination of mother-of-pearl, maple and rosewood.

The guitar comes complete with a quality padded gigbag made of sturdy nylon and a leather strap embroidered with the Ortega logo.
