The Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator offers a simple solution to all electric guitar players who could use the sound of an acoustic on stage or in the studio, but who wants to lug it around and it doesn't fit in the trunk anyway, right?
This next generation pedal uses COSM acoustic modelling technology to simulate the sound of an acoustic guitar more accurately and faithfully than previous technologies have allowed. It offers four operating modes: Standard, Jumbo, Enhanced, and Piezo, the latter simulating the piercing sound of a piezo pickup. The Top and Body controls adjust the virtual response/resonance of the guitar body to match your vision of the sound, which you'll refine to perfection with the built-in digital reverb.
The pedal's two outputs can be used to send a signal to your guitar as well as a PA or recording device. The box, like all current Boss pedals, operates in Buffered Bypass mode. Power is supplied by a 9V battery or 9V adapter (adapter not included).
