YAMAHA GENOS2

Yamaha Genos2 is a pioneering workstation arranger with dual tone generator that uses both AWM technology and FM synthesis. FM synthesis, familiar from the legendary DX7 that defined the sound of the 80s, is now integrated into the Genos2's styles and One Touch setup, delivering a warm and modern sound. Genos2 offers over 1900 high-quality voices and 800 styles with One Touch settings that cover a wide range of musical genres.

A key feature of Genos2 is the enhanced piano sound. Newly added pianos, such as the Yamaha CFX, offer more dynamic layers and keyboard sampling. Genos2 also includes a rich selection of SA2 voices that provide realistic articulations and legato joints. Steinberg's REVelation reverb greatly enriches the sound of the Genos2, providing transparent and natural reverb across a variety of voice, style and vocal applications.

Genos2 comes with new features such as Ambient Drums, which allows you to change the sound of the drums from direct, dry sounds to more ambient sounds. Style Dynamics Control allows you to adjust the energy and dynamics of styles, including user styles. Playlist offers better organization of registrations and easier access during performance. The 9-inch touchscreen now includes an anti-glare surface and is angled an additional 5 degrees toward the player for improved clarity.

Genos2 provides options for singers with various preset vocal harmonies and a synth vocoder. Chord Looper allows you to store chord sequences for easy access during performances. Genos2 also supports wireless Bluetooth connectivity for music playback and recording, connects to external displays via HDMI, and expands musical possibilities with MIDI Song to Style and expandable memory for new voices and styles.
