The Universal Audio LA-2A Studio Compressor offers you the sounds of the famous optical tube compressor/limiter in a compact pedal effect format.
It is a mono I/O compressor with switchable compressor (milder compression, 4:1 ratio) and limiter (12:1 compression ratio) mods and simple controls, with the Peak control determining the compression level and the Gain and Mix control outputting wet and dry signals. The basic controls are complemented by true/buffered bypass engagement and stock/fast release switches for setting the rate of compression termination and return to the original signal level. USB-C is for firmware updates. A 9V adapter (not included) is required to power the pedal effect.
