The Samson Concert 88x Handheld Wireless System offers an ideal solution for singers, teachers and presenters looking for an easy-to-use system with professional sound. The one-touch scan function quickly analyzes and selects the frequency with the best transmission from the 100 available channels, while the true-diversity design and tone-key circuitry ensure reliable wireless performance. With 100 frequencies in a wide 25 MHz bandwidth, there are plenty of channels for your event. On a single frequency, the Samson Concert 88x Handheld can work with up to eight compatible systems.

The CH88 handheld transmitter features Samson's dynamic Q7 microphone capsule and, thanks to its supercardioid directional characteristic, excellent off-axis sound cancellation - the microphone perfectly minimizes ambient noise and reduces feedback.

True-diversity design minimizes dropouts and ensures loud and clear wireless reception up to 90 meters. Tone-key and auto-mute circuits ensure that only the audio signal from the CH88 beltpack transmitter reaches the receiver. If the receiver gets out of range of the transmitter, these circuits automatically mute the system to keep unwanted noise out of the signal path.

The rear panel offers both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (1/4") outputs for connection to an amplifier, sound system or recording console. The half-rack format and included rack mount kit allow one or more CR88x receivers to be installed in a portable audio rack or on a fixed location. On two AA batteries, the system can operate continuously for up to eight hours.
