PILGRIM REDWOOD ELECTRO MANDOLIN ANTIQUE VIOLIN BURST
The Pilgrim brand has made a name for itself in the field of stringed instruments by building high quality banjos. This mandolin has a classic A-shape and resonant F-holes. The instrument is constructed with a spruce soundboard, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and a solid ebony fingerboard, which is normally only found on instruments in higher price ranges. This combination of materials used in this mandolin conjures up a very pleasant sound. The Antique Violin Burst lacquer finish is meant to mimic classic designs of old violins and certainly doesn't just fade away.
The mandolin is also equipped with a piezo pickup and potentiometers for volume and tone control. Overall, this is a very well built and equipped instrument for the money.
