The cello is based on an instrument from the workshop of the most famous Cremonese violin maker Antonio Stradivari. The instrument has a full and carrying sound that is suitable for solo playing.
The instrument is strung with Larsen Il Cannone Warm & Broad strings.
Petr Rácz is one of the established Czech violin makers. He is a bearer of the tradition from the region of West Bohemia, specifically the town of Luby near Cheb, where he continues and develops the traditional craft that has been operating in the region for over 300 years. As a graduate of the local violin-making school, he studied with Karel Zadražil and Emil Lupac. He finished his studies as the best graduate in his class. He developed his work with major companies in the region, eventually becoming completely independent and creating instruments under his own name. His instruments are known all over the world. He has been a member of the Circle of Artistic Violin Makers since 2008.
