The Neural DSP Quad Cortex is a powerful floor modeler/multi-effect for electric guitar/bass with a quad-core 2 GHz DSP (Quad-Core SHARC) processor, seven-inch multi-touch display and eleven 2-in-1 dual footswitches that also function as rotary controllers.
The Neural DSP Quad Cortex offers over 50 built-in apparatus modelings, 70 effects (12x reverb, 5x delay, 9x modulation, 7x pitch, 11x wah/envelope), 1000 IRs cabinets, support for recording external IRs, 10 preset setlists with 256 presets in each, built-in looper with 4 minutes and 44 seconds of recording time, versatile I/O with configurable patch-by-patch signal routing, integrated Wifi for wireless access, firmware update and cloud backup, three operating modes (Stomp, Scene, Preset), audio and MIDI via USB, MIDI compatibility and parameter control via MIDI, two inputs for external expression pedals (controlling volume, wah and pitch shift effects) and a tuner and tap tempo function available via footswitches.
The modeler's durable construction is made of aluminum, and the display is covered by a 1.8 mm thick glass cover. The power supply is provided by the included 12V adapter.
