The Meinl MCPP is a compact percussion pad designed for assembly, offering players the ability to play with both mallets and hands. This pad responds to the force of the strike, allowing a variety of dynamic effects to be achieved. It features five preset percussion sounds, including various snare drum, tambourine and hand clap sounds, allowing players to experiment with different sounds.
The Meinl MCPP features a 6.3mm jack mono output for connection to an amplifier or recording device. In addition, it also has a 3/8" thread for mounting on a percussion bar or dulcimer stand. A potentiometer is used to control volume, sound selection and touch dynamics. A rechargeable battery and USB-C cable for charging are included.
