MARTIN D-X1E MAH

The American Martin X Series offers more affordable electro-acoustic guitars made in Mexico that enrich the classic look and sound of Martin instruments with modern elements in the form of renewable components, composite materials and electronics.

The body of the Martin D-X1E,HPL Mah/Mah Dreadnought is made from modern HPL (High Pressure Laminate) in a figured mahogany finish. The laminated neck (Natural Birch Laminate) is glued to a Richlite composite fingerboard with 20 frets. This eco-friendly material, visually similar to ebony, is characterized by excellent acoustic properties, durability and stability.

The compensated TUSQ composite saddle on a Richlite fingerboard, together with the Corian fretboard, provides the strings with excellent resonance and sustain. A simple rosette with a herringbone pattern enhances the austere design.

Sound reinforcement options include Martin E-1 active electronics with volume and tone controls in the guitar's soundhole and push/push Phase switches (180-degree phase rotation) and a Tuner to activate the chromatic tuner. The guitar comes in a quality case (Soft Shell), making it instantly ready to be loaded into the trunk of your car/van for long or short trips to pursue your musical dreams.

The American Martin company, founded in 1833, is quite deservedly one of the biggest and most respected names in stringed instruments. For decades, it has been one of the leading innovators in guitar design and manufacturing technology. However, to use only the past tense would be a great mistake; instruments with the Martin logo are still today among the guarantees of the highest quality in craftsmanship and sound.
