The Martin 000C12-16E Nylon is a full-massage classical electroacoustic guitar with a body in the style of the 000/Auditorium models.
The guitar's glossy soundboard is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the satin back and sides are made of solid mahogany. The guitar's good acoustic properties are enhanced by the unique X (A-Frame) Scalloped X-Brace.)
An ebony fingerboard is glued to the Select Hardwood neck attached to the body at the 12th fret. An interesting feature is the longer fingerboard gauge (671 mm). Precise tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the attachment of the strings through the TusQ saddle and the bone zero fret in the tuning machines in a traditional design and the ebony fingerboard. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the imitation tortoiseshell body binding, the herringbone-patterned rosette and the Indian rosewood headstock veneer embellished with a gold company logo.
The Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT1 electronics with controls in the instrument's soundhole guarantee a faithful reproduction of the guitar's sound. The instrument is supplied in a soft-shell case.
