The Mackie SHOWBOX is a battery-powered active speaker with a detachable six-channel mixing console, effects unit and USB audio interface.
Keep it all at your fingertips with a detachable mix control module that lets you adjust levels for microphones and instruments, control effects, equalize, use save settings, looper, tuner and more. The controller attaches to the mic stand and slides into the body of the speaker itself for storage after the event.
Use the effects unit to enrich the sound on each of the four microphone and instrument channels, including specific effects such as fuzz, overdrive, tube saturation, acoustic preamp, instrument simulation, tremolo and more. Then connect everything with two additional effects processors for reverb effects such as delay and reverb. Use a 3-band parametric EQ and compressor on each channel.
The Mackie ShowBox provides up to 12 hours of live sound with 400 watts of power thanks to an internal rechargeable battery. 6 microphone and instrument input channels provide enough variability to make the ShowBox a complete portable live sound solution for singers, guitarists, keyboardists and other artists.
