LINE 6 Helix LT

The Helix products from Line 6 represent the absolute qualitative top of the range of guitar multieffects. This particular product, the Helix LT, features the same dual DSP engine and HX modeling technology as the company's flagship Helix Floor and Helix Rack guitar processors. The practical and efficiently designed input/output and hardware configuration makes this "supercharged" multi-effect available to guitarists for whom previous Helix-branded products were beyond their financial means or willingness to make the investment. The Helix LT can also be a great backup processor for owners of Helix Floor/Rack models, thanks to the compatibility of their presets.

The dual DSP engine offers the analog sound and feel of classic and modern amplifiers and effects across the full dynamic range (up to 123 dB). Detailed study and measurement of the properties of the individual components of the simulated instruments/effects and the HX modeling technology used guarantee maximum sonic authenticity, including detailed simulation of the properties of vintage effects and their electrical circuits. The sound of the included HX Hybrid Cabs can be creatively altered using the presets of the sixteen microphones and their twenty-three different settings (positions).

Thanks to the intelligent interface and design, you can easily and quickly control and edit individual presets. It takes just three seconds to assign the selected preset to a specific footswitch. The Snapshot function allows you to create up to eight variations of a single preset and seamlessly transition between them. In Pedal Edit mode, you select a block/parameter with the switch and change its settings with the Expression pedal. The wide LCD display shows the entire signal chain; you have a constant overview of the connection of the individual components within the signal path.

The Helix Edit software application includes the same intuitive controls as the Helix hardware processors, i.e. selecting instruments, cabinets and effects by drag and drop, setting parameters using sliders and knobs on the wide PC screen and other functions.

The processor provides high-end analog and digital I/O and signal routing for studio and live applications. Use the two effects loops to integrate any rig into the multieffect. Four stereo signal paths for each preset offer a wide variety of wiring options.

MIDI compatibility allows you to control MIDI parameters and control any rig via the multieffect or switches and Expression pedals (Helix LT offers two inputs for external Expression pedals). Through the controllers, i.e. Tone/Volume, of the Variax modeling guitars, the parameters of individual internal/external effects/apparatuses can be controlled.

Included in the package is a color Helix LT Cheat Sheet, a USB flash drive containing the user manual, adapter, USB cable, inbus key and warranty card.
