KORG XE20 SP

The XE20 SP is a new digital piano with an 88-key Natural-Touch keyboard and features two full concert grand pianos. It also has auto accompaniment so users can practice their favorite songs and play them at the touch of a button. The full collection of accompaniment styles is under your left hand, so you get a fully controllable full band accompaniment. Play chords and the XE20 SP will adapt to whatever style you choose. Change variations with a single touch. Add transitions whenever you want. Play the melody with your right hand. It's a completely live playing style that you can change at any time!

Two different concert grand piano sounds
The German Piano XE20 SP comes from the most famous piano manufacturers in the world; it is a favorite of many pianists for its versatile expressiveness. It is characterized by its full sound with clear high registers and distinct depths. Italian Piano is also world renowned for its rich resonances and sensitivity to the player's style. You have the choice of these two sounds to help you have the best playing experience.

Play with a wide variety of sounds
In addition to its spectacular pianos, the XE20 SP has a versatile collection of over 700 expressive and authentic sounds including electric pianos, organs, synths, woodwinds, strings, drum kits and more, all sampled from real acoustic and digital instruments. You can play live with each of these realistic sounds, or use them as part of the XE20 SP's automated accompaniment.

Automatic accompaniment takes your performance even further
The XE20 SP features automatic accompaniments called "Styles" that automatically play the entire accompaniment band based on one-finger playing or left-hand chords. This accompaniment changes according to the position on the keyboard or chord you are playing, so you can easily create simple improvisations by playing the melody with your right hand along with the accompaniment.

There are over 280 different styles available for musical genres from around the world, with each style containing four variations from simple to complex, plus an intro and ending for the beginning and end of the song. You can switch these variations to the beat with buttons to add life to your performances. And because the XE20 SP has the same 88-note keyboard as the concert grand piano, you can enjoy duets with family members or friends.

Play your favourite songs on the XE20 SP
When you're satisfied with playing a song, you can record your playing on the XE20 SP and save it for later. In addition to your own songs, you can use Song mode to play embedded demo tracks, MP3 or WAV audio data, or Standard MIDI Files from any USB key sold, while playing along with the backing track.

Slim design that fits anywhere
The XE20 SP is only 34 cm deep and weighs just 11.4 kg (*not including the music holder and separately sold stand). Its versatile features are housed in the center of a clear top panel in the same compact style as a typical digital piano, with added accompaniment and customizability. The slim and lightweight body will complement any room perfectly with its dedicated stand (*separately sold STB1) or take up space on a desk with ease, giving you more options to enjoy your XE20 SP.

Amplified speakers for powerful playback
The XE20 SP speakers have been designed to be both powerful and clear. The new playback system also improves the overall balance, so that even when the auto accompaniment is on, the low frequency percussion and bass will be present, allowing the piano to stand out.

A keyboard with the feel of an acoustic piano
The XE20 SP has balanced keyboard mechanics for the feel of playing a real acoustic piano; the keys are heavier below and gradually become lighter towards the top. The keyboard is finely balanced and provides a natural, effortless playing experience.

The elegant stand is custom designed
A unique stand that perfectly complements the XE20 digital piano. Two horizontal panels act as stabilizing support for the side panels while elegantly covering your feet. The refined design of this unit creates a look similar to a classical piano.

Three-pedal unit attached to the stand
The XE20SP set comes with a three-pedal unit. The pedal unit is attached to the stand, allowing you to concentrate on playing without worrying about the pedals shifting out of their optimal position as you play.

A comprehensive software package suitable for practice and creative work
The XE20 SP comes with software including the award-winning Skoove piano tutorial software to help you improve your playing, along with the Korg Module app that provides access to additional sounds, and finally the Korg Gadget Le DAW music production app.
