The new Moldau series, created on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the Josef Lídl workshops, offers three models of B tubas in 4/4 size with traditional construction, which differ in playing and sound characteristics, but will certainly appeal to you for their quality of workmanship and light weight. The instruments are equally suitable for playing in symphony orchestras and smaller ensembles.
Model LBB 684-4, Moldau features a lacquered yellow brass body, mouthpiece, valves and outer stringers made of pakfong, a water valve on the tuner and four rotary valves with mini-buttons for easy and quiet operation. Included in the package is a case, silver plated sleeve, cloth and oil.
The Josef Lídl company boasts a tradition of brass instrument making dating back to 1895, a tradition that has not been interrupted by the difficult periods of the twentieth century. Even today, it can still offer well-crafted musical instruments made in time-honoured ways.
