The front board of the Dreadnought AW70ECE-NT is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of plywood okoumé. A 20-fret fig fingerboard is glued to the exotic nyatoh neck. White position dots make it easy to find your way around the fingerboard.
Sufficient volume for the needs of public performance or playing with a band is provided by Ibanez AEQ-TP2 electronics with integrated tuner and Ibanez T-bar piezo pickups. Two outputs from the instrument, a balanced XLR and a traditional 6.3 mm jack, solve any problems with interconnecting cables and acoustic guitar jacks - you'll simply always be "ready".
The strings are held in the company's chrome Die-Cast mechanics and figwood fingerboard. Ibanez Advantage pegs offer the benefits of easy handling and a solid string fit over standard models. The instrument's design is enhanced by a rosette composed of black and white lines and a practical black pickguard, which also protects the instrument's lacquer from scratches.
