The front of the AEG200-LGS is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of plywood okoumé. Glued to the nyatoh wood neck is an ovangkol fingerboard fitted with twenty frets and decorative position markers. Good matching at the highest positions of the fingerboard is facilitated by the lower body cutout.
Sufficient volume for the needs of public performance or playing with a band is provided by Ibanez AEQ-TTS electronics with an integrated tuner built into the guitar's bellows and an underblock piezo pickup. The strings are housed in chrome die-cast tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio and an ovangkol fingerboard. Ibanez Advantage pegs offer advantages over standard models in terms of ease of handling and firm string attachment. Nice workmanship is accentuated by a rosette composed of wood and pearl (abalone) rings and a decorative inlay and company logo on the headstock.
